I’m Dr. Michelle van der Westhuizen—an MD who stepped beyond the clinic to explore a fuller, more regenerative path to healing.

My early work in functional medicine taught me to look deeper than diagnosis. But as my own health journey unfolded, I saw that even root-cause care sometimes misses the roots that matter most: light, rhythm, belief, and connection.

I began to integrate circadian biology, energetic repair, and the quiet intelligence of the nervous system—approaches often overlooked but foundational to how the body actually heals.

I haven’t rejected medicine. I’ve expanded it.

Now I guide others back to what truly works:
